In Chinese workplace culture, there is a concept of “牛马” (Niu-Ma, cow and horse), or workers who, like farm animals, labor endlessly with little rest in the field. At Cubicle Farm To Table, we explore themes of work, value, and labor, through a playful dining experience hosted in an office setting.
Join us for a four-course meal that transforms workplace rituals into edible delights. Our menu will include a bright detox drink of herbs and greens to dissolve stress; platters stacked with pickles, cured meats, and crisp seasonal vegetables; a desktop bonsai where fresh salad grows from edible soil; dumplings tucked into nests and bathed in rich chicken broth; and finally, the boss’s eternal “pie in the sky” arriving as a sweet dessert you can actually taste.
Dietary note: The menu includes dairy, nuts, and meat.

Facilitator Bio
#fff: #fff food studio is a leading creative food service studio in China since 2021. We use gastronomy as a tool for individual and brands, translating concepts into intimate dining experiences and edible installations.
Our practice rethinks systems of food production and consumption, opening space for reflection on how food relates to society, culture, and the everyday. Each project becomes both a gesture and an action, highlighting the subtle yet urgent questions of our time. Since 2021, we have created works for exhibitions, openings, and diverse cultural and commercial contexts.
