Tin Nguyen & Edward Cutting are Australian artists and creative technologists based in New York.

They create playful installations and experiences that illuminate the borderless dimension between art and science, the physical and the digital, the human and the more than human.

Their work is driven by a deep curiosity for the natural world and the intimate ways we are connected to it. They use art to envision the world through this lens of interconnectedness.

Their latest project, We Are Made of Time, an ambitious video installation throughout the Moynihan Train Hall, performs a temporal magic trick, compressing 4.5 billion years of Earth’s geological change into a symphonic moment. It is currently on view until July 15, 2024 at Moynihan Train Hall, Penn Station.

Tin&Ed are alumni of NEW INC, the art and technology incubator run by the New Museum. They developed their practice as part of the interactive experiences and creative science cohorts.

Their work has been shown at The Rockefeller Center and Pioneer Works in New York, Getty Museum in Los Angeles, Barbican Centre in London, ArtScience Museum in Singapore and Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney.

They have worked with brands including Apple, Hermes and Nike. They have also spoken at Design Indaba in Cape Town, the AGI Congress in Mexico City and Semi Permanent in Australia and New Zealand.
