Spend an afternoon creating something the internet didn’t know it needed. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll discover vibe coding—a creative-first approach to prototyping that lets you build functional Chrome extensions without getting lost in technical weeds.

We'll explore ash’s delightful You’re Never Lonely on Wikipedia extension, which shows you how many people have tumbled down the same wiki rabbit hole. Then you’ll create your own extension that adds a personal touch to how people experience the web.

This workshop is perfect for artists and designers curious about bringing digital ideas to life, developers ready to break free from best practices and embrace creative chaos, and anyone who’s ever thought "wouldn’t it be cool if browsers could..." You’ll walk away with a working Chrome extension you actually want to use, the confidence to prototype wild web ideas without fear, and a new approach to coding that prioritizes imagination over perfection.

No heavy CS background required—just curiosity, a bit of HTML/JS, and a willingness to make weird, delightful things for the web. By the end, you’ll have your own working Chrome extension—and the confidence to dream up more.
