​Other Internet presents a workshop on the shifting narratives of the macro cultural landscape, remade by the internet and crypto.

​This workshop is for anyone who has spent time working deeply in the cultural economy, crypto, or the internet as a whole.

​We’ll discuss eras of the internet over the last 10 years, looking to make sense of cultural cycles. We’ll bring you into the sensemaking process and media ecology frameworks we use at Other Internet. By the end of the evening, we’ll aim to have a renewed sense of our own relationships to the existential narratives of our time.

​Toby Shorin is the cofounder of Other Internet Research Institute. He recently published Other Internet 2018–2024, a new anthology of OI’s influential work over the last 5 years, with Metalabel.
